Macks Creek students participated in the PCL Math Bowl on Wednesday at Weaubleau. There were 16 students ranging from 6th grade up to Seniors that participated for the Pirates. Five students placed in four categories this year. As a team, the High School finished 5th in the PCL.
The following students were awarded certificates for finishing in the top 10 of specific areas:
Non-Metric Geometry: Israel Husong - 6th Place; Madison Moos - 7th Place; Calvin Eidson - 10th place
Metric Geometry: Israel Husong - 6th Place; Madison Moos - 8th Place
Advanced Math: Trinity Husong - 6th Place
Open Math: Trinity Husong - 5th Place

Our little Pirates had so much fun at Itty Bitty City today! The rain was perfect for our indoor field trip. Our class is full of firefighters, chefs, veteranians, conservation workers, moms, dads, babysitters, and railroad workers. ❤️

The “Dude. Be Nice” Project is a week-long project that highlights a community as it orchestrates and celebrates an amazing and unsuspecting person or group.
The project aims to highlight and celebrate individuals who demonstrate kindness and positive energy within their community.
The ultimate goal of Dude. Be Nice is to motivate young people to do nice things for others.

The Health Department will be at the school on April 9 from 10 AM - 1 PM to administer required vaccines for incoming 8th & 12th graders. Thanks to our partners at COMC, we will be offering the opportunity to receive a free physical on Wednesday, April 9 during school hours for all 6-11 grade athletes. All interested athletes must stop by the AD office and pick up a physical form to fill out ahead of time. All forms must be turned in by Tuesday to be eligible to receive the free physical. All athletes must have a physical form on file in order to be able to participate next school year. #MCPirates

Macks Creek FFA traveled to the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg yesterday for District CDE (Career Development Events) results. FFA Sponsor Ms. Norman said, "Everyone did an amazing job and worked very hard this year to learn their content."
The Nursery/Landscaping team consisting of Freshman Taeler Osborn, Sophomores Brooklyn Green and Ella Marshall, and Junior Morgan Buck, qualified for State Competition at the University of Missouri (April 23 - 25)! Congratulations!
Brooklyn Green also finished in the top 10 individually. Great job, Brooklyn!
