Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Cross Country Team on a great performance at State this morning! Every athlete ran his personal best and truly left it all out on the course today. The team finished 13th in the State. Caleb Phillips 22nd (17:47) earned All-State honors finishing in the top 25. Jose Cortez took 94th (19:16.1) with Kyler Gabriel right on his heels at 95th (19:16.7). Vaughn Vasquez took 124th in the State (20:00) followed by Nick Hicks who placed 158th (21:47). Great job Freshmen! Dakota Willis placed 171st (29:13). We are so proud of your hard work throughout the entire season Pirates! #MCPirates
Molly Phillips and Adriana Mayer ran the final race of their High School careers today at the State XC Championships. Both Lady Pirates ran personal records. Molly finished 38th overall in the State with a time of 22:33 and Adriana finished 69th in the State with a time of 23:28. We are proud of all they have accomplished! Adriana raced at state 3 years in a row and Molly all 4 years. Thank you both for your hard work and dedication to the cross country program! We are going to miss cheering for you! #MCPirates

Senior Composite Pictures are this Friday, November 5th. ALL SENIORS need to *dress up* (no t-shirts/sweatshirts, etc.) and have their picture taken. Makenna Campbell returned from a trip to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis today. She departed on Wednesday and had an action packed adventure attending the conference with over 50,000 other students from all over the nation. Macks Creek is grateful to the Walnut Grove FFA for allowing Makenna to accompany them! We will share more details about her trip next week. We are glad you are home safe and had a great time Makenna! In the attached photos, Makenna visited the Indiana World War Memorial and attended the American Degree Ceremony. #MCPirates
