Macks Creek celebrated their Homecoming Coronation for 2022 this past Friday, February 11. Senior candidates for King and Queen were voted upon by the student body during the school week. On Friday when the final vote was counted, Hunter Harris and Adriana Mayer were crowned Homecoming King and Queen. Below is a small write-up on each King and Queen candidate.
Syrena Rector and Hunter (Harold) Harris
Syrena Rector is the daughter of Everett and Martha Rector. She has been a member of Softball for four years, Basketball for four years, FBLA for four years, NHS for 3 years, and Student Council for 2 years. Her future plans are to attend Missouri State University and get her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Hunter Harris (Harold) is the son of Cathy and Curtis Harris. He has been a member of the baseball team for 4 years and FFA 3 years. Their future plans are to attend Missouri Welding Institute and go work over the road.
Amber Klinksick and Isaiah Schmidt
Amber Klinksick is the daughter of Tami and Dan Klinksick. She has been a member of Softball for four years, Basketball for four years, FBLA for two years, and FFA for one year. Her future plans are still yet to be determined.
Isaiah Schmidt is the son of Todd and Shawn Schmidt. He has been a member of both the baseball team and FFA for the past four years. His future plans are to work HVAC at Affordable Heating and Cooling.
Cieanna Baker and Olivier Sanchez
Cieanna Baker is the daughter of Samantha and William Baker. She has gone to Macks Creek for all 12 years and has been a part of Softball for 3 years, Track for 5, NHS for the past 3 years, and FBLA for 4 years, all of which she played an officer role. Her future plans are to attend Mizzou in the Spring in order to obtain her degree in Veterinary Science and to continue her career within the Missouri Army National Guard, in which she will switch to active duty after obtaining her degree.
Olivier is the son of Daneille and Daniel Delinger. He has been a member of NHS for 3 years, as well as a member of the baseball team for three years. His future plans are to work and possibly go to college.
Adriana Mayer and Austin Brown
Adriana Mayer is the daughter of Tammy and Michael Mayer. She has been a member of Cross Country for 3 years, Track for 4 years, NHS for 3 years, and Student Council for 1 year. Her future plans are to attend cosmetology school and teach dance classes at In Motion Dance Center.
Austin is the son of Carrie and Justin Brown. He has been a member of basketball for four years, baseball for two years, and FFA for four years. His future plans are to play college basketball for a couple years and then work doing landscaping or construction.
Taylor Rich and Obediah (Obee) Tower
Taylor is the daughter of Doug and Leah Rich. She is a member of NHS for 3 years, Student Council for one, Cross Country for 2 years, And basketball for all four years. Future plans are to attend college and major in Accounting.
Obediah is the son of Amee Velchek. He has been a member of FFA for 4 years, basketball for 3 years, and track for 3 years. His future plans are to graduate and enter the working field.
