On November 6th, 17 students from Macks Creek attended the PCL Science Olympiad contest held at Hermitage High School. When the Pirates officially joined the PCL conference it opened up several more doors for our students to participate in new avenues. Science Olympiad is a competition made up of 15 overall events. Each event awards points for a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place finish. Out of 15 events Macks Creek High School placed top three in 4 different events. The Middle School Pirates were able to finish 6 times in the top three giving the Middle School Pirates a third place finish. We would like to think all the students that participated and their families for allowing them to compete.
