The Macks Creek Pirates's struggles continued against Dadeville and Humansville. With 4 players out with injuries, getting in foul trouble early was certainly not what the doctor ordered at home against the visiting Bearcats. A solid first quarter lead of 8-6 turned south in a hurry as 3 players picked up early fouls and Dadeville took advantage over the next two quarters. A solid fourth quarter by Jose Cortez, 10 points and Caiden Ramirez 5 points kept it respectable with a 27-38 loss.

At Humansville a similar situation kept Hunter Cullen out for most of the first half and the Tigers took advantage jumping out to a 27-15 halftime lead and finished with a 46-29 win over the visiting Pirates. Cullen led the pirates with 11 while Caiden Ramirez added 10.
The JV team improved to 7-3 on the season with a split losing to Dadeville 17-9 and then knocking off the Tigers 10-0. Colton Eidson continues to improve with 9 points in the two games with teammate Jonathan Kelsay netting his first bucket as a Pirate.
